Life Goes On, I Guess
October has been a strange month.
Actually, strange might be an understatement.
A lot has happened, and honestly, I don't think I've fully processed everything yet.
Work is still work.
I still wake up early, get ready, go through my daily routine, deal with responsibilities, and somehow make it through another day.
From the outside, everything probably looks normal.
But a lot has changed.
I've lost someone important to me.
I've made decisions I regret.
I've had conversations I wish had gone differently.
And I've spent more time thinking about my life than I probably have in years.
It's funny how life works sometimes.
A few months ago, I had a pretty clear picture of what I wanted the next year to look like.
Now?
Not so much.
There are days when I feel okay.
I go to work, talk to people, laugh at something stupid, drink my coffee, and just continue doing whatever needs to be done.
Then there are days when everything feels a little heavier.
When random memories show up.
When I start wondering what would've happened if I'd made different decisions.
But I guess I can't spend the rest of my life living inside those questions.
I've been thinking about writing more often.
Not because I have some incredible wisdom to share.
Trust me, I don't.
I'm still the same person who overthinks everything, makes questionable decisions sometimes, and has absolutely no idea what he's doing half the time.
But maybe that's exactly why I should keep writing.
So that someday I can come back to these posts and remember what this part of my life felt like.
Not just the good things.
The mistakes too.
The difficult decisions.
The moments when I had no idea what would happen next.
I don't know where life is taking me right now.
I still have responsibilities, goals, debts to pay, things to learn, and a future to build.
And maybe that's enough to focus on for now.
One day at a time.
One small decision at a time.
I'm not exactly where I wanted to be.
But I'm still here, trying to figure things out.
And I guess life goes on.
